Hello! I'm Harith Laxman. I like to think of myself as a polymath as I love to dabble with many new things and learn new skills. Fueled by high energy levels and boundless enthusiasm, I'm easily inspired and more than willing to follow my fascinations wherever they take me. I'm a passionate, expressive, multi-talented spirit with a natural ability to entertain and inspire. I'm never satisfied with just coming up with ideas. Instead, I have an almost impulsive need to act on them. My abundant energy fuels me in the pursuit of many interests, hobbies, areas of study, and artistic endeavors. I'm a fast learner, able to pick up new skills and juggle different projects and roles with relative ease.

Apart from coding, I also love to play games and stream them online whenever free. I love performing be it, dramatics or public speaking. I watch many theatre performances in my locality and occasionally take part in them.

Crop Disease Prediction using Deep Learning

Millions of crop produce are wasted all around the world due to crops and plants being infected with diseases. When a crop or a lant is infected with a disease it may spread to other crops or plants through varios methods such as through winds, through other insects and animals etc. To prevent this I designed a Deep Learning model using YOLOv3 and RESNET-152 that can accurately detect and identify 28 different diseases across 14 plant species.

Handwritten signature forgery detection using Deep Learning

SIgnature verification is a huge process especially in companies that operate in the finance and banking domain. More often than not, signature verification is performed by a human and therefore is prone to error.I developed a ML model using RESNET-50 that can detect forgeries in signatures.

Cursor Control based on Facial Movements

In this project I used the PYAUTOGUI and OPENCV Libraries to map the user's Facial Movements to the Cursor. The user would open their mouth to start the program and can navigate the cursor through their head movements. The user can wink through left or right eye to perfrom respective clicks on the mouse. The user can wink twice with both eyes to enable scroll mode and scroll based on their head movements.
